ABOUT US
Founded in 2016, The Stockholm Student Investment Fund is a student-operated investment fund with approximately 80 active members. The fund is organized under the Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics (SASSE). Our primary objective is to provide an educational environment for SSE students to discover and develop a passion for financial markets. SSIF caters for members of all abilities, in a non-judgemental environment, where experienced students are encouraged to pass on their knowledge to junior students. Adhering to professional standards, SSIF employs pitching events to determine stocks to invest in. These events are open to all members and partners of the Fund. Through close collaboration with financial professionals and esteemed companies in the field, partners will easily be able to identify capable and professional students with a demonstrated enthusiasm for the financial industry. Our objectives are as follows:
Educational Experience
SSIF offers an inclusive educational experience for all students, irrespective of their prior experience, fostering learning opportunities in finance. Through participation in SSIF, students gain valuable knowledge and skills, complementing theoretical learning with practical insights into investing and fund management.
Networking and Career Development
SSIF aims to support students in establishing careers within finance by providing networking opportunities and credible experience in investing and fund management. By connecting students with industry professionals and offering direct involvement, SSIF facilitates the development of skills and competencies essential for success in finance-related roles.
Real Market Exposure
SSIF offers a unique way for members to gain real market exposure. With the support of industry leaders and the opportunity for real-money investment, SSIF offers students a unique pathway to gain real-world experience and propel their careers in finance
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
SSIF is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, encompassing individuals from varied backgrounds and identities. By actively promoting diversity, SSIF seeks to increase the representation of female students and individuals from underrepresented groups at SSE, encouraging them to pursue careers in finance.

FUND REPORTS
The SSIF year ends the last of June. The Fund publishes an end-of-year report to be informative of the holdings and exposure of the fund at year end as well as the dealings of the Fund during the year. Should you have any questions concerning the report, please contact tech.ssif@sasse.se.
PARTNERS
The partners of the SSIF are integral to the operations of the Fund. Partners make donations to cover the Fund's operational expenses where the surplus is used to cover mutual expenses within the Student Association. In return, the partners receive access to highly motivated and capable students at SSE. Sponsorships for operational expenses are kept strictly separate from the capital and endowments to the SSIF fund. In addition, the Fund is fully transparent with the handling of sponsorships - partners may request a full review of their sponsorship at any time. Depending on the category partners wish to enter they get varying opportunities at promoting their business to students, be it available internship opportunities, graduate schemes, presentations or simply to be more visible to potential future employees from SSE. Higher category partners are also welcome to attend pitching events or to get a seat on the Advisory Board.
SSIF is supported by prominent financial institutions including SEB, ABG Sundal Collier, and Carnegie
